Eh??The Watford result shows *huge* movement to Labour since 2006-08. It shows a tiny swing back to the Libdems since GE day. Watford has had for some years huge differences in how people vote in local elections compared to national ones (and that still...

Watford has had for some years huge differences in how people vote in local elections compared to national ones (and that still applies last time even though we came 3rd)This result means Labour can hope to win back significant ground from the LibDems there in the next few local elections - even before growing government unpopularity is factored in ;-)I presume you are DA the journalist?? I do wonder why you lower yourself to comment on one isolated local by-election anyway. Wait, it couldn't be yet another chance to bash "Red Ed", could it?? Just accept that your man lost and let go of the bitterness, before you turn into John Rentoul!(I say this as someone who admires much of your work, btw)

Hi MarleneSorry for the delay in replying. We are a community based newspaper, that is totally funded by local advertising.Sadly due to high printing, production and delivery cost, it means we cannot deliver to every house. In the past we have delivered newspapers to the store on the corner of the square in New Marske for the customers. But after a time these copies were left out of sight tucked away or not given away.So we had to stop taking them due to wastage, and delivered them into other areas. We hope soon that income from the paper or sponsorship will mean we can deliver to the whole of New Marske. But as it stands at the moment we can’t afford to. The paper is delivered 100% in Marske and many other areas listed and is also available in Libraries in the borough. Of course you can also get a copy online at the website.Thank you for your interest. Many regardsStephen Nicholls.
